Occasionally, in my work, I take screenshots of the current engine status in order to capture a strange problem I had or a milestone. Many of these represent small steps visually. But behind the scenes, there is quite a bit of management and good work. In the last screenshot, everything you see build through object oriented principles. Created to be flexible and reusable.

While researching…

A lot of functionality has now been build, tested, and integrated at work. So much that I have been distracted by all the wonderful graphic effects I’d like to implement now. While researching some shadow techniques and their efficiency/quality trade-offs,  I was discussing my ideas and finds with a friend over instant messages.

Here’s an excerpt…
