On Summer Vacation and Indie Film

Vacation

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

This week I’m in Florida. A small reprieve between projects. I just finished the bulk of the work on the film project. When I return, it’s time to start my new job. This was mainly because I am the only guy in the circle of friends concerned with home recording equipment, and because indie films of this nature have very little budget, which means they can’t just walk down to the local “Engineers ‘R Us” and hire one full time. This project is now actually nearing completion. It entailed a much greater amount of work than anticipated, but thankfully the quality is proportionally greater than anticipated.
